Samsung Electronics CEO and Vice Chairman Kwon Oh-hyun has announced plans to step down from his position at the head of the company. The 64-year-old, who has spent the last 32 years at Samsung, operating as CEO for the last five, cited a need to bring “new spirit and young leadership” into the firm.

According to a report in The Register, the Dvmap trojan, which hid inside several games in Google Play for months and was installed over 50,000 times, “installs its malicious modules while also injecting hostile code into the system runtime libraries”.

Android Studio Canary Gets Wear Side Button Simulator
The rotary crown button functions introduced in Android Wear 2.0 have made their way into the Wear Simulator of the latest Canary edition of Android Studio. This means that developers no longer need a physical Android Wear 2.0 device around to test the behavior of a function that they’ve mapped to the rotary dial in their Wear app, so long as they’re willing to hop over to the Canary build of Android Studio or have already been using it.
